<p>Remember, tomorrow is no school. We'll be back on Thursday. Please take time to reflect on what Truth and Reconciliation means - that yes, settlers (for some of us, our forefathers) came onto this continent and purposely tried to erase entire peoples and complete cultures through oppression, violence, abuse, brainwashing, religion, and (yes) marriage. It has been a forced integration which has taken away the really good stuff of the indigenous people who, for time immemorial, had fully developed cultures. The ways of the indigenous peoples was just as successful, valuable and viable as any other foreign culture.</p>
